☆ Bubble Tea In London ☆

What is Bubble Tea ?!

Bubble Tea is Taiwanese tea-based drink, it can be drunk hot or cold and is usually made with iced tea, sweetened milk or other flavorings. It also has small black balls inside called tapioca balls which are usually sweet and chewy.

Where can you try bubble tea ?!

In London there are a variety of different places in which you can try Bubble Tea. The first place I tried bubble tea was in a bubble tea shop in Soho called Bubbleology. I remember at first I was unsure about it but once I tried it I found it really yummy :D However even if you don't live near London there are plenty more Bubble Tea shops all over the country and all around the world where you can try it  ^^

Here's a list of my top 3 bubble tea

shops London and
my opinions of them ~!

Bubbleology

Bubbleology is probably the most famous and popular of the Bubble Tea shops in London. Their bubble tea is yummy and cheep and they have a great service in a friendly atmosphere. If your new to bubble tea I would suggest you try here first as the staff all speak English and can guide you on which flavors you'd like best. Also they have a great website which explains fully about bubble tea and all the variations, click here to see ^^ Bubbleology also have a Facebook page where they hold competitions often, I recently won a competition where I had to name a new flavor of bubble tea, I came up with the name Berry Burst, however I haven't seen it in their shop yet, Id be so happy and excited If I did ^^ ☆

Special - milk tea, fruit tea, fun atmosphere.
Address - 49 Rupert Street Soho W1D 6PF London.
Days and times - Mon - Sun: 11:00 - 23:30
Cost - £3.45 - £3.75

Boba Jam is more of a traditional Bubble Tea shop. The shop is divided into two sections, one side is for takeaways and the other side has tables where you can sit, I think that's a really good idea as you have more time to sit and look through the menu before you place your order. They also sell amazing deserts and snacks which are delicious and fairly cheep for London ^^ The staff there are mostly Asian but do understand English and they are also really friendly. I'd say that Boba Jam is my favorite as its more relaxed (less busy than Bubbleology, more seats) and you get more authentic bubble tea. Also Boba Jam was the first ever bubble tea shop to open in central London :D

Specials - KTV, desserts, snacks.
Address - 100-102 Shaftesbury Avenue W1D 5EE London.
Days and times - Mon - Sun: 11:30 - 11:30
Cost - £3.60

Cuppacha

Cuppacha is a small bubble tea shop located in the heart of Chinatown. I actually really like the location as its so close to the shops we usually go in however the negative side of that is that its always pretty busy. Cuppacha is good because it has LOTS of different flavors to try, more than Bobajam ;D Also the 'pearls' are nice and soft, not too hard in the middle. Some people however complain its overly priced for example the milk teas get free pearls where as the fruit ones you have to pay for extra (i personally cant remember if that was true for me :/ ) Also when I first went they had run out of boba D: I was kinda shocked but it was fairly late at night and the drink itself was still yummy *^ ^*

Specials - Taiwanese Biscuits.
Address - 23 Newport Court  WC2H 7JS London
Days and times - Mon - Sun: 11:00 - 23:00
Cost - £3.25 - £3.75

Website https://www.facebook.com/ilovecuppacha

There are however many more bubble tea shops in London, recently lots have opened and its hard to try them all especially when you really love one shop and your worried it wont taste as good and you'll regret it *><* But I'm sure they are all just as yummy, you just have to find the flavor which is right for you (◕‿◕✿)

HYPER JAPAN SUMMER 2013 ~ !!

Yesterday Meggii and I went to Hyper Japan for the second time ~!

The last time we went it was the Christmas Hyper Japan which was really good so we decided to go again however this time it was the July one ^^ When we first arrived we noticed a huge queue (longer than last time) however it was super quick and it was a good chance to look around at all the amazing cosplays and cute Lolita ~

Once we was inside we noticed it looked much bigger which was a nice surprise however with so many stalls we were really overwhelmed haha. We decided to look all around before we bought anything so we could get a chance to see it all before we spent all our money on more unless stationary ><

After we had looked around and bought some stuff we decided to get some food. We weren't really sure what to eat because there were so many different types of food for sale. The sushi looked really yummy and other stuff looked really good but we didn't know what it was called so we didn't know how to buy it haha. First we had some Japanese fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce and then we had a fruit salad to be healthy ^^ The food there was actually really yummy ^^

We then looked around and bought some Super Junior and some Kdrama stickers which were cheep from a stall that was selling lots of kpop albums and merchandise ~! I couldnt get over how many stores there were, there was at least 5 different anime/manga stalls and lots of cute stores selling jewelry and wigs :)

From one of the manga stalls I bought a Madoka Magica Rement which was really exciting to open ~! I got .................................

Homura!! which although she is not my favourite character she actually looks really cute here ~! ^^

Another thing I bought was a really cute cat necklace !

From Chinatown I bought a really pretty pink purse which was £7 but its going to be reaaly usefull expecially when I go on holiday and need to carry my camera and money around with me all the time and dont want to carry a big bag. The purse has a strap therefore it can be carried on your wrist ^^

Over all It was a really great experience and we got to see loads of cute things and people and now I cant wait till next time ~!

Here's some extra photos from my day ^^

Kawaii Apps ~ ♥

My favorite Kawaii Apps!

10 ~ Magic Tree
I was really excited when I found this app~! I was like yaay, it looks just like harvest moon (which i was addicted to at one point >< ) however once I had installed in the app kept closing itself down after only a minute or two :( Which is kinda sad, I really liked the style of art and if it had worked for me I think I would have really enjoyed it.

9 ~ Chibi Me
I downloaded this game a while ago on a whim just because I was bored and wanted something cute to enjoy. At first I really liked the style of art, it was really cute and bright. The game itself involves creating your own little chibi style character using pre-drawn hairstyles, accessories  and facial features. you can make this character look like yourself or even just completely random ^^ overall I think its a fun app which is good for when you’re bored however after you have created lots of different chibi is does get a little boring ><

8 ~ Rillakuma Touch
I found this app while watching a YouTube video. I thought it looked really fun so I downloaded it onto my iPhone. I wasn't really sure what to do at first and I have only had it a few days but i think you just touch Rilakkuma and he does stuff~? Anyway, its really cute to play when your bored ^^

7 ~ Rakuga-cute
I downloaded this app while looking for cute purikura apps to decorate my photos with. I thought this one looked cute because of the colours and style. The purpose of the app is to decorate simple photos taken on your iPhone and turn then into cute purikura style snaps. The app itself is really easy and simple to use. I also like the stamps as they are unique and are similar to real purikuras. The only issue ive had with it is that as there are so many similar purikura style apps so I do sometimes forget about it ><

6 ~ Poco
I downloaded this app after I had seen it on the internet and thought it looked really good. When I downloaded it was a little disappointed to find its all in Chinese >< however once I started using it I learnt roughly what I was doing and what buttons did what ^^ The app is a purikura style app however I think this one is quite different. The style is a little more sophisticated however there are some cute stickers/stamps. Also there is this sort of air brushing effect which I found really exciting because after i had taken my photo i suddenly saw how smooth my skin looked~! There is also this option where you can take 4 photos immediately after each other  this is really fun because its like snap! snap! snap! snap! and you gotta keep posing hehe~!

5 ~ Lounge
My friend actually found this app first and then suggested it to me. The app is a messenger app which allows to you send really cute messages to your friends, just like texting but free ~! I really love this app because you can customize your message screen to look really cute and decorative. You can edit the message box, the style of writing and even the background; I think this is a really sweet idea. This app is probably my absolute favorite messaging app because it’s really easy to use and customize to make your own ^^

4 ~ CocoPPa
This app is an app where you can create your own App photos for your apps. I have actually found this app really useful when trying to make my iPhone look at cute as possible. The app itself is quite difficult to use however if you just follow the instructions and you should be okay ^^

3 ~ Line play
This App is a sort of spin-off from the Line messenger app. On this app you can create your own character, decorate your home and make friends from all over the world. I really like this app because its not just the standard messenger app, because you can do so much more, not only can you have private  chats, you can also visit peoples virtual rooms before you start a conversation with them ^^

2 ~ SBS PopAsia
Now, I know not every body loves K-pop but I do ^^ I'm not a crazy fan but I do like listening to the latest songs because the music is so catchy. Before I found this app it was hard to keep up to date with the latest songs, and this is why finding this app was a huge relief to me. Its basically an Asian radio station which plays mainly K-pop and J-pop. Its really fun to sing along to and always works unlike some other Asian radio station apps.

1 ~ Snapeee
I'm in love with this app. In my opinion, honestly, it is the best because its targeted at all different age groups, not just young girls. It was the first photo decoration app I downloaded and I have been on it almost every single day since I downloaded it~! I understand some of the stickers and frames aren't mega cute, purikura style, but I think that makes Snapeee unique because its not just for young people, even adults can use it ^^ Also unlike the others you have your own profile and you can add friends and look at other peoples photos and "recommend" them ~! I always enjoy going onto Snapeee and taking a look at all the cute photos people have taken, even if they do always make me hungry ><
